Spent the whole Sunday in our vacation house.  Now I've gotten used to liking it... spending weekends there with a terrific day ~a shame to waste it, but I was stayed alone because Pao and Pats consumed their time together with a father-son bonding activity.
Just as I had finished cleaning up some dusts and watering the garden, I don't even remember feeling tired about it, just that I only missed the two and my mom of course, she would probably stay here for as long as she wants.
I've had about all I can take for one day... then I was free.

...windy siesta in the bedroom

complete silence in the hallway,

But somehow it was a great day~  really, really relaxed!  It can be tough sometimes being solo but I've learned to enjoy solitude just as much as spending time with other people.

  1. Hi Flory, Sounds like a relaxing day...love the sheers billowing in the breeze! Makes me wish for summer even more! We did have a nice day here...temperature was 61F which is great after the cold winter we've had.

    solitude...can be joyous...
if we use it to reflect ...
    to inspire...
and to reach for things greater than self.

    glad you had that chance!

  1. How nice to have a quiet day all to yourself, especially in such a beautiful place. I think being alone sometimes helps us to appreciate those we love even more.

    Hi Floy,

I am so happy to find your blog and see that you are in Manila! I lived at Clark AFB for 2 years in 1973-1974. I really enjoyed the Philippines..so beauitiful and the people are so friendly. I have many happy memories there! I love your beautiful curtains and nice for you to have some alone time!
