Watch, Patrick's photo/video when he joined the Mr. & Ms. Saint Paul. He sang the famous themesong of the tv series 'Ang Panday', one of the incarnations of the character 'The Panday'

The movie
The Panday (blacksmith in the Filipino language), whose real name is Flavio, is a fictional Philippine comics character created by Carlo J. Caparas and illustrated by Steve Gan. His adventures were serialized in the series Ang Panday in Filipino Komiks in the Seventies. The character took his place in Philippine pop culture when the comics were adapted to film. The most famous of these films starred Fernando Poe Jr. as Flavio and Max Alvarado as his archenemy Lizardo.
TV series
Tristan — The Ang Panday TV series, which started airing in 2005, features a young new Panday named Tristan, played by Jericho Rosales, Heart Evangelista as Eden, his love interest, and Victor Neri as Lizardo. Philip Salvador plays a version of Poe's character who appears in the introductory episodes. In this version Flavio forges his dagger and a church bell for his community from the meteoritic ore, and has a personal grudge against Lizardo, who murders his wife. After beheading his enemy, Flavio plants his weapon into the bell, and is taken up into the heavens. However, Lizardo's brain is still alive, and Tristan, a man from the present time, becomes the Panday in Flavio's stead. Tristan and Salvador's Flavio were both attired similarly to Poe's Flavio.

"It is possible to be happy and joyful most of the time.  You just have to look at little children and see their natural joy.  You may say that little children are free and don't have anything to worry about, but you are free too!  You are free to choose worry or to choose joy, and whatever you choose will attract exactly that... Joy attracts more joy."
-Taken from The Secret Daily Teachings

Today is Monday, we should always start the week with joy rather than the stressful things that could happen.  Gaze on the beautiful things around which can make us happy, so in this process we will find, the  more we believe, think and feel happy, the easier it will be to fulfill things!

It's the end of the school year for Patrick.
Last Friday St. Paul Grade School celebrated Thanksgiving and Recognition day, Patrick got an Academic Excellence on four of his subjects... (and I'm a proud mom).

Patrick and his friend Sean after the program.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Now It's a time to relax, enjoy evenings free from homework, and hold celebrations.
Well, I meant for celebration was also the best time for preparation. For us Patrick's parents of course to get involved in more talks with him, giving him some advice, some guidelines, and help make sure that he'll have the appropriate supervision when it comes to getting along and making friends, especially this summer vacation!
beautiful isn't it?... I just stayed close to shore because there must be a bunch of sharks out there... yaiks!
I purchased tai-chi workout video of David Carradine about a year and a half ago, and I am using it until today! When I was a kid, I would have loved to become a kung fu martial artist, well maybe because of my dad 's strong influence (he's a longtime karate enthusiast). I'm fond of watching David Carradine's kung Fu of course, Jackie Chan and Bruce Lee movies too (Oh, Enter the Dragon's one of my favorite movies!)
Only last year when I just decided to teach myself how to learn the slow flowing movements of tai-chi and it creates a very positive effects for my health... I'm enjoying it a lot and keeps my mind and body balanced too.
Another video is Cardio Kung Fu a different story of course and a bit complicated but also powerful. Try it!
TJ Storm is cool!
Few weeks ago Patrick asked me to buy him a new Optimus Prime Transformer toy, I said sure, if he'll get high grades on his test... I might spend a little more this time because I knew him and his very specific about the kind of toy he wants to have , and it will definietly "last" for years. Now, this is neither good nor bad, and it simply is. The challenge is not even about just giving my child what he always want to have but finding toy for my child for a reason. That's one of many reasons when it's right for me as a parent to be concerned.
He took his 3-day Unit Examinations last week and he kept on reminding me appropriately about the toy. Recently I've found out he achieved an almost perfect scores on all of his subjects, it's no surprise then so as I promised - Pats and I will be having our "Pre-Valentine" date tomorrow at SM Mall of Asia to buy him an Optimus Prime Robot. That's what really excites Pats - and I can look forward to sharing that excitement with you soon!
Another happy time with these beautiful people... I just can't say no to them when they invited me... the man on the left is Volker a German Steel Merchant... I've learn a lot from him, his so brilliant and really kind... and his kids Vanessa and Daniel were very nice too... they've brought their partners along with them.  They're here till Friday and will fly back to London.
It's really helpful spending time with the owners... I've gotten to see and experienced the real sense of their personality... in that way I will know how to incorporate my own interpretation of the design they want and I've gain more friends too.
Seems like my stars are working up for me...
January 06, 2009 This could turn out to be a "no frills" day and even if it isn't memorable in the long run, you can achieve steady progress on several fronts. Making improvements to your health regimen or exercise program can have positive lasting effects. Organizing your files, handling emails or doing routine paperwork is a smart use of your pragmatic approach to life today. Working steadily now will be more satisfying than short bursts of productivity.
... somehow I've noticed that things are coming true... and it feels good, I got pretty excited about it!
So last week we celebrated Christmas with my family and Patrick had tons of fun. He did got to play too much with his newest toy from us mum 'n dad of course and Mama sent him two pair of rubber shoes and a new cellphone... Patrick's very thankful. (pretty spoiled huh!)
... got mine from Pao too! Funny... He'd love to see me really dressed normally and walk around in high heels, he can't believe it. It's kinda weird.
We have a new pet named Kobe, family friend gave it last Thursday as a gift. A two months old Mongrel, he's so cute and patient. (mixed of Collie and St. Bernard) but I hope he's not or else we'll be having a gentle giant housemate as he grows older!... but it's fun to have him around!
It certainly was not the best Christmas. The dinner table was set and the stereo was playing carols, and on that night, I felt Mom and Pap's absence even more. Leaving us with the string of "Parent less" Yuletide. Well, Papa's always in a missing-in-action mode for all seasons and it was in a sense the start of an entirely different tradition for us.
We were used to celebrating Christmas with practically the whole clan... with our gra'ma of course, uncle, aunt and cousins for an eve dinner. And would troop over to the living room and start opening our gifts. It's just essentially a family affair. Clannish as we may be... but unfortunately some of us who simply have to trade the comfort of home for the confines of the workplace.
On the other hand now, Christmas won't be the same without our table occupied by Excellente Cooked Ham (Excelente Cooked Ham is usually mobbed during the holidays in Echague Street. One kilo of sweet ham retails at P680.00). With the anticipated dishes made for Noche Buena and usually made by one of our family members. Aunt made her Beef Shank Sotanghon, and uncle with his Crispy-Pata (Deep-Fried Pork Hock) sliced with special condiments and some spices. I just showed off my Spaghetti mixed with mushroom and pineapple and Pao made his special velvety "Halayang Ube" (Candied yam) as our dessert. And so the Aristocrat Restaurant in Roxas Boulevard gave us their anticipated gift Chicken Barbeque (more than enough for us) and their special Cake, (forgot the name) several layers of thin torte made of egg whites mixed with nuts and interspersed with marshmallow icing of butter and chocolate spiked with rum.
Patrick and my cousins just set off the Videokê and just within minutes applauding at the wonder of it all.
