It's been a long while since I shared my pink Saturday... I've been doing a lot of design projects and I couldn't even open my blog to update. Well I guess now is the time to get back on the track by sharing my first Pink Saturday this 2013. Thanks to Beverly for inviting me.

I've been eyeing SMEG for years now eversince I saw it on the internet.  Geez! It looks fab to me, so retro and I would definitely love to have SMEG products in my house someday :)

Repost:

Patrick was only 2 years old when we introduced to him the use of water color.   Pao and I were not that serious about it, we just let Patrick learn to familiarize himself with the colours, how to use the paint brush or just simply let him play with it.

We just framed and hung some of Patrick's abstract art on the wall, they're all very nice!

So simple... I just keep my son's stuff because they all mean a lot to me!

I'd like to share with you some photos of wedding invitations and stationery I've made.
At first it was just a wild hobby of mine... I tend to do custom made cards and other crafty stuff  whenever I got extra time... then I've earned extra money out of it.

All of my samples and prototype wedding invitations are kept here in a vintage looking box made of hard cardboard bought  from a bazaar.

Now here are a few of wedding invitations I've done so far... (click image to enlarge)

... with my favorite tags.

I do most of my work in adobe illustrator and corel draw, then picked the best font style and size. Chose specialty papers and ribbons that were simple and elegant with various colors and designs mostly depending on the motif.

Some invitation cards I've made other than wedding, special events like:
  • birthdays
  • baby shower
  • christening
  • housewarming

So simple and easy...

With creativity and a little patience, you too can make an invite that is unique and one of a kind.

I'm so fascinated by these strawberries and cream scented fancy hand soaps... well, it's actually a paper soaps.
I'm not gonna use it as a regular hand cleanser though, (hmm, how could I not???) but I think it's pretty nice to display it inside the bathroom and store it in a glass jar with cover.

Each delicate soap is so cute and super thin like paper.

The idea is to have a fancy but usable accent piece in the bathroom... try it!

I do believe that scarves are good to wear on ANY season, event or occasion... I live in the tropics and summer will soon be here.  Yes, I do wear lightweight scarves on a summer days and beyond its functionality,  you can never look plain with it!  Like me, I wear lots of  whites and neutrals, I just tie a scarf around my neck or wrap it around my shoulder and  that's it... a cool style statement!

Sharing you some of my Pashmina and long summer scarves:

They're made of a thin, light fabric with cute patterns...
