For 9 years now, Pao and I have been spending just a little time as we could everyday sitting and chatting over a cup of coffee.  Now, we've changed our daily routine to include a warm cup of TEA... hmmm, chamomile and jasmine are my favorites.

I purchased tai-chi workout video of David Carradine about a year and a half ago, and I am using it until today! When I was a kid, I would have loved to become a kung fu martial artist, well maybe because of my dad 's strong influence (he's a longtime karate enthusiast). I'm fond of watching David Carradine's kung Fu of course, Jackie Chan and Bruce Lee movies too (Oh, Enter the Dragon's one of my favorite movies!)
Only last year when I just decided to teach myself how to learn the slow flowing movements of tai-chi and it creates a very positive effects for my health... I'm enjoying it a lot and keeps my mind and body balanced too.
Another video is Cardio Kung Fu a different story of course and a bit complicated but also powerful. Try it!
TJ Storm is cool!

I always envy some of my friends even my sister which seldom get pimples at all and has always had a fresh naturalness with or without makeup. I don't usually wear makeup... maybe it’s because I’m too lazy doing all those stuff, but nonetheless, I tend to go for a minimal face. You would think that going minimal means no makeup at all but, on the contrary, it takes more work than usual. The look requires heavy contouring, neutral shading, and polished skin and gleam, etc., etc., in just about all the right places. But sometimes there were even a few days when my skin was so ugly because of dried out pimples and where I would even put concealer and makeup altogether to cover it. I ended up making everything else worse! Good thing MK works for me... it has gotten rid of a lot of the bumps and redness on my face, so now I could go out even without makeup.
Yet still, those beauty regimen is pretty tiring and time consuming. ;>

Seems like my stars are working up for me...
January 06, 2009 This could turn out to be a "no frills" day and even if it isn't memorable in the long run, you can achieve steady progress on several fronts. Making improvements to your health regimen or exercise program can have positive lasting effects. Organizing your files, handling emails or doing routine paperwork is a smart use of your pragmatic approach to life today. Working steadily now will be more satisfying than short bursts of productivity.
... somehow I've noticed that things are coming true... and it feels good, I got pretty excited about it!

It's a normal day in the office... I have come back to work and continue what I've been doing. But I have to clean my desk a bit. I quickly started at home though I have totally turned around completely... and it was overwhelming!
It's normal for me to have a desk covered with stuff and usually I knew how to find what I needed easily and effortlessly. My family still knows me this way, and to be frank at times I still work in this old habits... yeah kinda hard to beat. hehee!
But I have to do my best now and I will definitely start my day having a clean desk (including my desktop... look at my screen!) and work organized of course! good luck for me!

I already have my schedule arranged accordingly... this December would be a whole month of Christmas for me and for the family.
Part of my activity plan is more time in relaxing and continue my creative visualization as my holistic healing process. I have a nasty lymph node under my left jaw near my neck. No findings yet because I never had a chance to see a doctor... my fault really, I've ignored it for the past 4 months and now it's almost triple the size of a pea, though it doesn't hurt but other's told me it's more serious, but I would certainly say it's not.
The one I'm using now is an important tool for me to have a constant communication between my mind and body (just like yoga, meditation and praying which is always the best medicine). The healing comes from within and if we have some Illnesses... it often force us to relax, let go of our busyness and drop into a deep quiet level of consciousness where we can receive the nourishing energy that we need.
One of the basic principle of health is that we cannot separate our physical health from our emotional, mental and spiritual states of being... It is true that all levels are interconnected and a state of "dis-ease" in the body is always a reflection of conflict, tension, anxiety or disharmony. (I was once in a horrible situation where I can see nothing but fear and so much anger~ and so this lump I think is the result!) So when we have a physical disorder, it is inevitably a message for us to look deeply into our emotional and intuitive feelings, our thoughts and attitudes, to see what we can do to restore natural harmony and balance to our being.
Of course "preventive medicine" is also the best and I will definitely see a doctor and take advantage of the declared holidays we have this month to smoothly continue my healing process amazingly.

Every morning, I would come to work at 9:00 to 9:30 AM. Yeah, a bit late just to enjoy the first couple of hours of the day with Paolo and Patrick before they would go to their respective places.
After work, family would meet for a dinner, check Patrick's homework, watch TV days and abundance of hugs and kisses from Paolo.
On weekends, family comes home to Bulacan for a short vacation, a trip to a theatre whenever there's an interesting movie to watch with, a nice picnic, an extravagant dinner or even uneventful day at home in Manila.
Now what about the extraordinary everyday??? for me! there's nothing wrong with making everyday extraordinary... but it all seems so movie-like, so surreal. What sustains our relationships are the familiar routine that we shouldn't take for granted. The ordinary everyday and the ability to make these special.
